Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility

Wilsonville, Oregon

Client: TriMet
Construction: Aadland Evans, Cisneros, JV

The Washington County commuter rail offers a new transportation route within the heavily traveled Interstate 5 and Highway 217 corridor. The 14.7-mile alignment shares freight train tracks with the Portland & Western Railroad in eastern Washington County. It serves Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin and Wilsonville along the I-5/Hwy 217 corridor. It also will connect to TriMet Max light rail in Beaverton.

Aadland Evans constructed the new operations and maintenance facility as a joint venture with Cisneros Construction Inc. The project features a 16,000 SF, pre-engineered building to service FRA compliant commuter rail vehicles.
